Sarah Nolan is Senior Head of Risk at The Prince's Trust and was until 2020 Senior Head of Group Risk and Compliance at Age UK. Prior to that Sarah spent 10 years as Director of Regional Risk at Opportunity International, a leading Financial Inclusion Network advising on and leading risk and compliance work with organisations across Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. This was a time of great change with the creation of pro-poor financial products, and the use of technology such as biometrics, mobile money and weather insurance for smallholder farmers.
Sarah was VP at Deutsch Bank in their corporate finance team for 5 years before moving to the charity sector. She is a qualified accountant and started her career in audit at E&Y and then PWC.
